Silent Hill Will Continue On In Slot Machine Form

Kojima Productions and Konami separated ways earlier this year and along with that 'Silent Hills' was cancelled as well. However that's not that end of it, as Konami announced that 'Silent Hills' will be coming back, however it is not as what fans would've expected.

Here's the latest on Silent Hills news and updates.

Silent Hills is the first major project of 'The Walking Dead' actor Norman Reedus outside 'The Walking Dead'. Silent Hills was original a Hollywood and it may seems that it's supposed to stay that way.

When Silent Hills was canceled upon Hideo Kojima's exit from the company, many wondered when we would be getting a new Silent Hill game. Konami has said that it will happen, but right now the company seems more focused on making games for gambling. Silent Hill will be getting a new game. In the form of a slot machine. Fans have felt that Konami is mistreating their IP, making games that make quick cash rather than AAA continuations of beloved franchises.

Silent Hills has been very successful in Hollywood that it is no wonder why the gaming world would want a piece on that. Kojima Productions and Konami then took it upon themselves to create a game based on the legendary film, and with the film, is the legendary Director, Guillermo Del Toro and yet another legend Norman Reedus, to add to this the legendary game developer Hideo Kojima; the future of 'Silent Hills' was very bright indeed, but no one knew that Kojima and Konami would separate.

When it comes to the gaming world; everyone has heard of 'Metal Gear Solid' a game that was made between Kojima Productions and Konami which was a massive success in the gaming market. Recently they've announced the release for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Hideo Kojima said that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain would be his last MGV game; since then news that Kojima and Konami's feud has been all over the internet.

We know that there's another game in production between these two gaming giants and that's Silent Hills, to be honest the only options are one of them gets full rights on the game (very debatable) or that they'll continue to work together to finish this project (seems like the feud is massive so it's highly unlikely as well) and last, sadly not the least option; they'll officially cancelled the production of Silent Hills, after all the game is still in its early stages.

However, recently it has been announced that Silent Hills will be coming back only this time it is not as what fans have expected it to be. According to What Culture, Silent Hills will be coming back as a 'form of a pachinko (slot) machine.'
Konami released a trailer showing some of the game's shots. The report added, 'This seems like the beginning of the end for the company in terms of respecting gamers' wishes, and although the monetary side of Konami is ticking over nicely when it comes to gambling machines across Japan, many reports have emerged that illustrate them pushing an increasingly worrying agenda when it comes to their own employees.'
